My Forex Funds has opened a new claims process for traders who held active accounts when the firm was frozen on August 29, 2023. The submission form covers all three former MFF programmes: Evaluation, Accelerated and Rapid.
The announcement represents a major expansion of the reconciliation process. My Forex Funds had previously focused on funded traders with positive account equity, but the new form is available to users with any qualifying active account, subject to the eligibility definition provided during the submission process.
Traders will have one month to complete the form. However, My Forex Funds has made it clear that submitting a claim does not guarantee a payment, refund, restored account or any other outcome.
Who Can Submit A Claim?
The form is intended for traders who held an active My Forex Funds account when operations were frozen on August 29, 2023. This includes qualifying accounts from the:
- Evaluation programme
- Accelerated programme
- Rapid programme
My Forex Funds says traders must check the definition of an active account provided within the form. This is important because not every account that had previously been purchased will necessarily qualify. Accounts that had already breached, expired or been refunded will not be eligible.
The new process is broader than the earlier positive-equity payout phase. It potentially gives evaluation traders and users from the Accelerated and Rapid programmes an opportunity to have their account status formally reviewed.
How To Submit Your Claim
Traders can access the official MFF submission portal and select Submit Your Claim. The process begins by entering the email address originally registered to the trader’s My Forex Funds account.

A six-digit verification code will then be sent to that address, and the claim will be locked to the verified email. Traders should complete the form carefully and provide accurate information about their accounts.
After submission, My Forex Funds will automatically generate a Case ID. This can be entered into the Official MFF Case Tracker to monitor the claim’s progress. The company aims to provide an initial update within three to four weeks of each submission, although the entire reconciliation process may take longer.
My Forex Funds has warned that claims containing false, embellished or misleading information will be set aside.
Submission Does Not Guarantee Payment
My Forex Funds describes the form as being for “data collection and reconciliation only.” A completed submission does not confirm that the trader is eligible for compensation or that a particular outcome has already been decided.
The firm will use the information to compare trader claims against the account data it has recovered since regaining access to its systems. Each account’s next steps will then be communicated separately.
This means traders should submit the form, but they shouldn’t treat the Case ID as confirmation that money will be paid. The process is still at the evidence-gathering and account-reconciliation stage.
Positive Equity Payments Are Continuing
Separately, My Forex Funds says reward disbursements remain in progress for funded traders who had positive equity when the firm was frozen. These payments are being issued as each trader’s personal and account information is received and verified.
The company previously opened a dedicated process for funded Evaluation accounts with positive equity. Submissions for that phase closed in July, and MFF has since shared several updates stating that payments are continuing.

The new claims form appears to address the much larger group of traders who still had active accounts but weren’t included in that initial payout category. However, My Forex Funds hasn’t yet explained what outcomes will be available for evaluation accounts, accounts without positive equity or traders who had not requested a payout before the shutdown.
Why My Forex Funds Is Reviewing Old Accounts
My Forex Funds was shut down in August 2023 after regulators froze the firm’s operations and assets. The sudden intervention left traders unable to access their accounts, dashboards and pending payouts.
According to the timeline published by My Forex Funds, the US case was dismissed in May 2025. The Canadian receivership then began unwinding, assets were returned under a final court order in December 2025 and the firm regained access to missing account data in January 2026.
Founder Murtuza Kazmi previously explained that some servers, email accounts and other data storage had not been properly maintained during the shutdown. The company therefore needed to reconstruct account records before deciding how individual cases could be resolved.

Is My Forex Funds Returning?
This announcement doesn’t confirm that My Forex Funds is reopening its prop firm challenges. The form relates to accounts that existed before the August 2023 shutdown and is designed to help settle outstanding trader cases.
There are still no new Evaluation, Accelerated or Rapid accounts available to purchase on the My Forex Funds website. Traders should therefore distinguish between MFF resolving its old obligations and the firm launching a new prop trading operation.
A future return remains possible, and former My ForexFunds leaders have discussed the company’s potential comeback. However, this particular announcement is about account reconciliation, not a relaunch.
Conclusion
Opening the submission process to all qualifying active accounts is an important step forward. Until now, much of the focus had been on funded traders with positive equity and pending rewards, leaving evaluation and other programme users waiting longer for news about their accounts.
Traders who had an active Evaluation, Accelerated or Rapid account on August 29, 2023 should submit the form within the one-month window and keep their Case ID. They should also make sure every detail is accurate, as misleading submissions will not be considered.
The form still doesn’t guarantee compensation, and My Forex Funds has not announced what outcome each type of account may receive. But after three years of uncertainty, affected traders finally have an official route to register and track their individual cases.
