More than 3 years after its accounts were frozen in August 2023, My Forex Funds is relaunching on 23 November 2026.
For traders who were caught up in the shutdown, the main news is that accounts still active after the claims process will be restored exactly as they were. For everyone else, there is a new Evolution program, with 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations from $5,000 to $300,000, and a returning instant account called Accelerated.
Evolution’s funded stage works differently from most prop firms. You start in Partner status, where you can take rewards any day with no payout cap. If your account falls 2% or 3% below its starting balance, your trades are closed, you drop to Intern status and you pick up a strike. Hit your strike limit and the account is breached.
In this article I’ll go through the relaunch dates, what happens to 2023 accounts, how Evolution and its points system work, and what we know so far about Accelerated.
The Relaunch Timeline
My Forex Funds set out its plan in a recent livestream with CEO Haider and Josh from the team. The key dates are:
| Date | What Happens |
|---|---|
| 26 October | Rollout stage emails sent to traders with restored accounts |
| 27 October | Waitlist opens for the pre-sale |
| Shortly after | Affiliate waitlist opens |
| Day before pre-sale | Pricing revealed |
| Around the second week of November | Pre-sale opens |
| A few days before launch | Stage 1 dashboard and trading credentials issued, locked |
| 23 November | Relaunch, open sale starts and Stage 1 accounts unlock |
| 30 days after launch | Stage 2 accounts unlock |
The pre-sale is limited to traders from the 2023 MFF community and people on the waitlist. My Forex Funds says spots are first come, first served, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee one. Pricing has not been published yet.
The rollout confirmation emails have now been sent, with each trader’s schedule and the action items they need to complete, including selecting a Rollout Program. My Forex Funds notes that all dates are tentative. If you haven’t received yours, email inquiries@myforexfunds.com.
Restoring 2023 Accounts
Every account that stayed active through the claims process will be restored to its exact state on 29 August 2023:
- Evaluation accounts resume from the same phase and equity.
- Funded accounts that have not received a payout or refund during the claims process return at the same equity.
- Program choice: traders can keep their account on the original rules or move it to Evolution.
The 2-stage rollout
Restored accounts are being released in 2 batches of 50%, chosen at random. Stage 1 unlocks on launch day, 23 November, and Stage 2 unlocks 30 days later. Stage 1 traders get their credentials a few days early, with the accounts locked until launch.
Traders keeping their accounts on the old rules appear to be on a slower track. For those choosing the Old Evaluation Program, My Forex Funds has since clarified that rollouts will begin “shortly after” launch and are planned to finish within 4 months, with the pace throttled by demand. The company apologised for earlier messaging that suggested these accounts wouldn’t start for 4 to 6 months.
So keeping the old rules may mean waiting longer for your account. In my view that is a clear nudge towards Evolution, which My Forex Funds says creates a “No-Conflict” model where its success is tied to traders’.
Help for accounts in drawdown
Accounts that were in drawdown at the time of the freeze get some help:
- 0% to 2% drawdown: restored at the original starting balance. A $100,000 account sitting at $98,500 restarts at $100,000.
- More than 2% drawdown: an extra 2% of drawdown.
Compensation for settled accounts
Funded accounts that were closed after being paid rewards or refunded through the 2026 claims process won’t be restored. Instead, those traders receive:
- A free 2-Step Evolution account of the same size as the account that was settled.
- 50% off a second account, as a coupon.
- A 100% split on their first reward, instead of the standard 70%, however large it is.
My Forex Funds says these traders will also be among the first on the Evolution program, and it will contact eligible traders directly. On the livestream, the team said these accounts follow the same 50/50 rollout as restored accounts.
Explaining why the offer is only being announced now, CEO Haider said the firm’s future was undecided when it began settling claims. After what he described as a win in the US, it chose to pay traders despite ongoing legal proceedings. He added that the brand has now been sold and “the path is clear”.
Rapid accounts
The Rapid program is not returning. Traders with active Rapid accounts will be offered a move to Evolution, with a second resolution option still being finalised.
The claims form will also reopen once the current batch is processed, for anyone who missed it.
How The Evolution Program Works

Evolution is a standard evaluation followed by a very different funded stage. Both evaluations lead to the same funded account.
| 1-Step | 2-Step | |
|---|---|---|
| Account Sizes | $5,000 to $300,000 | $5,000 to $300,000 |
| Profit Target | 12% | 8%, then 6% |
| Maximum Loss | 6% STATIC | 10% STATIC |
| Daily Loss Limit | 3% (funded: Intern only) | 3% (funded: Intern only) |
| Minimum Trading Days | None | None |
| Time Limit | None | None |
| Funded Switch Setup | 2 strikes x 3% | 2 strikes x 3%, or 3 strikes x 2% |
The targets are higher than they used to be. The 2-Step was previously 8% and 5% with a 12% maximum loss, and is now 8% and 6% with 10%. The 12% 1-Step target is also above the usual 10%. Josh said on the livestream that both were mathematical decisions and could be lowered if the new data allows.
The other rules:
- Leverage: 1:50 on FX, 1:30 on metals and indices.
- News trading: Allowed, but leverage may be reduced around news.
- Overnight holding: Allowed during the week. Positions are closed 1 hour before the Friday close, so there is no weekend holding for now.
- EAs and copy trading: Allowed between your own accounts and from other firms, but not with other MFF traders.
- Margin: Using 100% margin closes your trades. Josh described this as a separate 3-strike rule, so repeated use becomes a problem.
- Maximum allocation: $300,000 at launch, with no account merging.
Full details are on the Evolution program page.
Partner and Intern Status
The funded account is where Evolution is different. You start in Partner status, with no profit target and no daily drawdown. My Forex Funds says Partner accounts’ trading data is used by its trading entity, Globeline Markets.
If your equity falls to the switch level, your trades are closed and you drop to Intern status. As an Intern, you trade under the 3% daily loss limit and must get back to break-even to return to Partner.
| Switch Setup | Switch Level ($100,000) | Strikes Before Breach |
|---|---|---|
| 2 x 3% (1-Step or 2-Step) | $97,000 | 2 |
| 3 x 2% (2-Step only) | $98,000 | 3 |
Each switch to Intern adds a strike. Returning to Partner doesn’t remove it. Reach your strike limit and the account is breached.
To clear a strike, you need to withdraw a total of 10% of your account size in gross profit after it. On a $100,000 account, that is $10,000 of withdrawals, and it removes only the oldest strike.
A worked example
Take a $100,000 account on the 2 x 3% setup:
- You lose $3,000. Trades close at $97,000, you move to Intern and take strike 1.
- You recover to $100,000 and return to Partner. You still have 1 strike.
- If you hit $97,000 again before clearing that strike, it is strike 2 and the account is breached.
- If you instead withdraw $10,000 of profit first, strike 1 is removed and you are back to 0.
This means the switch level works like a tight static drawdown for most traders, with one spare life. The room above it is yours: once you’re in profit, there is no daily limit at all, and Josh said traders can use every dollar above break-even however they like.
I think this is the main friction point, and My Forex Funds acknowledges it. A 3% switch level is tight compared with the 6% or 10% maximum loss you had in the evaluation. The upside is that recovering to Partner doesn’t cost you anything: there’s no requirement to win back earlier losses before your next payout.
The livestream described an earlier version of this system, with a 2% switch for everyone. The website now shows the strike rules above, so check the final rules before you buy.
Splits, The Buffer and VIP
Rewards are on demand, any day, while you are in Partner status. The minimum is $100 after the split, there is no payout cap, and requests are paid together at the end of each day.
| Status | Profit Split | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 70% | None |
| Buffer | 80% on profit above the buffer | Keep 5% of the account size in profit after withdrawing |
| VIP | 90% for the life of the account | 5 rewards, 90 days, and 10% of the account size withdrawn while keeping the 5% buffer |
The buffer isn’t compulsory. On a $100,000 account, you can take every dollar of profit at 70%, or leave $5,000 in and take everything above it at 80%. Josh said the 90-day VIP period could be cut to 60 days later, but won’t go above 90.
A 70% base split is low by current standards. But combined with any-day rewards, no payout cap and no daily drawdown in Partner, I think the structure is genuinely attractive for traders who can protect the switch level.
The Points System
The new idea in Evolution is the Reward Pool. Commission on your funded trades in Partner status earns points, which you can spend on 2 upgrades:
- Drawdown upgrades: each one adds room before your status switch, in steps of 1%, up to 100% of the starting balance.
- 30% scaling: each one increases the account size by 30%, up to $1 million.
Josh said 1% of extra room costs roughly 12 lots of commission on a $10,000 account, or about 120 lots on $100,000. He added that 2023 MFF traders averaged around 16 lots a day, and the points were priced assuming 4 lots a day, so at 4 lots a day, a 1% upgrade on a $10,000 account would take about 3 days of trading.
Points are per account and don’t depend on payouts, so you can withdraw and upgrade at the same time. If you breach, your points convert into a discount of 10% to 50%, or a free account, on your next purchase.
This is the part of Evolution I find most interesting. Firms usually sell extra drawdown and scaling as paid add-ons, while here they are earned through trading volume. If the pricing holds up, a trader who keeps an account for a few months could build a much wider switch level than they start with.
Secured Profit
Evolution also has an optional Secured Profit feature. When enabled, profit milestones set protected levels. Touching one closes your trades and starts a reward, rather than letting a winning account fall back to the switch level. A daily lockout, where you can stop trading after reaching a profit target, is also being built.
Accelerated Accounts
My Forex Funds’ instant account, Accelerated, is also returning. It is listed as “coming soon” on the website, so these details come from the livestream and may change:
- Account sizes: Roughly $2,000 to $50,000, as before.
- Drawdown: 5% (Emphatic) or 2.5% (Conventional), with the price set accordingly.
- Daily loss limit: None.
- Consistency rule: None.
- Profit split: 70%, up from 50% in 2023, with no buffer bonus.
- Payouts: On demand, from your first profitable trade, instead of the old 5-day cycle.
- Scaling: Points from commission unlock 30% account scaling up to $1 million. There are no drawdown upgrades.
- Account limit: 2 at a time, possibly rising to 5 later.
Josh described it as “as partner-y as it gets” for an instant account, with no consistency, margin or stop-loss rules. I’d wait for the pricing before judging it, since a 2.5% or 5% drawdown is only good value if the fee is low enough.
Company Structure, Countries and Platforms
My Forex Funds is now operated by Global Solutions Operations FZE, licensed by the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority. This UAE entity runs the simulated evaluations and funded accounts, and traders register with it.
Trading technology and MetaTrader access come from Globeline Markets Ltd, a separate company registered in Saint Lucia in 2026. My Forex Funds says Partner traders’ data is passed to Globeline Markets, which uses it for its own trading.
A few other details from the livestream:
- Platforms: MetaTrader 5, plus 2 platforms still to be announced. MetaTrader isn’t available in the United States.
- Countries: Somalia, the UAE and Canada can’t be accepted, and Pakistan is still undecided. India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand are accepted.
- Payout methods: Direct crypto withdrawals will be available.
- Weekend holding: A separate weekend-holding program may be tested at launch, with lower leverage and strict rules against gap trading.
I think the clear split between a simulated entity and a trading entity is a sensible step for a firm whose 2023 shutdown followed regulatory action. Traders should still read the full terms once they are published, which My Forex Funds expects within about 2 weeks of the livestream.
Is My Forex Funds Evolution Worth It?
It is too early to judge value, because pricing won’t be revealed until the day before the pre-sale. But the structure is clear enough to see the trade-off.
In Partner status, Evolution is one of the loosest funded accounts in CFD prop trading: no daily drawdown, no payout cap, any-day rewards and a points system that lets you earn more room and scaling instead of paying for them. In exchange, you trade above a 2% or 3% switch level with only 2 or 3 strikes, and the evaluation targets are higher than before.
I think it will suit traders who build a cushion early and want to keep an account for months. For traders who blow through accounts and start again, the switch level will feel tight, and they may be better off with the Accelerated account once its pricing is known.
For traders with 2023 accounts, the restoration plan is the most positive news of all. Just be aware that keeping the old rules appears to mean waiting longer than moving to Evolution.
Conclusion
My Forex Funds is returning with a program that is genuinely different from the rest of the market. Evolution swaps the daily drawdown for a status system, and swaps paid add-ons for points earned through trading. Whether it is good value will depend on the prices revealed in November.
